Dare: Trade in Mr. Maybe for Mr. Yes
I've had friends get engaged recently which proves that in Los Angeles in the year 2009 there are men not afraid of marriage or women over 40. I've also heard of others who are dating people who don't truly make them happy and I'm thinking why?
This article by Ian Kerner provides insight on why singles drift in a haze of partial happiness. I love that he refers to author Milan Kundera and autophobia which explains why some cannot leave mediocre relationships. Most importantly, there is a gentle reminder throughout that we are alive for a limited amount of time, so why squander it on Mr. Maybe when you could be with a Mr. Yes.
